No matter the path you choose to follow in life, there are no guarantees against bumpy roads.
I’ve heard too many times “Find something you love to do and you’ll never work a day in your life”. Even though there is some truth to it, it’s a bit misleading
When I made the decision to become a Realtor it was because I wanted so badly to help people avoid the pitfalls of home ownership. I knew it would definitely pull me full force out of my comfort zone, but I knew I had to and wanted to do it anyway.
Helping people is something I love to do, and while I do expect many challenging days ahead, what I look forward to mostly are the rewarding ones.
So I came upon this question… How will people know you are here to help them? The easy answer was just to tell each person as I met them. But, that left a huge gap of people who I wouldn’t cross paths with on a regular day. I have to go find them where they are – online. I have to create an online presence. I have to put my face and my voice out there. WHAT?! Fear crawled rapidly up my spine and I did my best to fight it, well so I thought. I did my best to delay, and criticize and find so many excuses as to why it wasn’t the right time. Three months later there is still nothing. Until today.
I’m taking the step to introduce myself to the world, face, voice and heart.
Meet me, the me that finally decided to do the hard thing that will eventually lead me to be successful in doing the thing I love. To continue on this Harvey Mackay wave, my goal is to help you where you need the help. “You don’t have to know everything, as long as you know people who know the things you don’t.”
